Bijli Mahadev Temple is one of the most sacred and breathtaking temples in Kullu Valley, Himachal Pradesh. Perched at an altitude of around 2,460 metres, it offers a panoramic view of the confluence of the Beas and Parvati rivers, surrounded by lush green mountains. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is famous for its unique legend — the Shiva lingam inside is said to be struck by lightning every few years, symbolizing divine power.

The trek to the temple begins near Chansari village, about 3 km uphill, and rewards visitors with incredible views of the valley and snow-covered peaks. The serene environment, ringing temple bells, and the gentle mountain breeze make the experience deeply spiritual.

Bijli Mahadev is not just a temple but a place where nature and faith come together beautifully. Whether you visit for its mythological charm, scenic trek, or peaceful vibes, this spot truly captures the divine spirit of Kullu Valley.
