Originally a hunting ground of the Alwar royals, it was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1958 and a tiger reserve in 1979 under Project Tiger. Apart from the majestic Royal Bengal Tigers, visitors can spot leopards, deer, sambars, wild boars, langurs, and numerous bird species.
The reserve also holds historical significance, housing the ancient Kankwari Fort, Pandupol Temple, and old Shiva shrines. With jeep safaris, scenic landscapes, and a mix of adventure and spirituality, Sariska offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
