Day Plan

Day 0 - Overnight Journey from Delhi to Solan

Start your journey with an overnight Volvo or private cab ride from Delhi to Solan, a quaint hill station located in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The drive is scenic, passing through winding roads, charming villages, and lush green forests, setting the tone for your peaceful getaway.

Day 1 - Arrival in Solan – Local Sightseeing

Arrive in Solan by morning and check into your hotel. After freshening up, begin your exploration of this peaceful hill station. Solan is often called the ‘Mushroom City of India’ due to its mushroom farming, so a visit to the Solan Mushroom Farm can be quite interesting. Afterward, head to Shoolini Mata Temple, a significant religious site located atop a hill offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the evening, take a walk around the town and explore its charming market. Relax at a local café and try Himachali snacks such as Chana Madra or Siddu.

Day 2 - Day Trip to Kasauli

After breakfast, take a short drive to Kasauli, a small hill town located just 25 kilometers from Solan. Kasauli is known for its colonial architecture, pine forests, and peaceful atmosphere. Start your day by visiting the Kasauli Brewery, one of the oldest breweries in India. You can also explore Christ Church and the Monkey Point, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Take a leisurely walk along the Mall Road and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. After exploring Kasauli, return to Solan by evening and unwind at your hotel.

Day 3 - Visit Dagshai and Solan Local Exploration

On your third day, take a short trip to Dagshai, a small village located about 14 kilometers from Solan. The area is known for its natural beauty and historical significance. You can explore the old Dagshai Jail, which dates back to the British era. After spending time in Dagshai, head back to Solan and visit Jatoli Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is known for its peaceful surroundings and beautiful architecture. You can also visit Gurkha Fort, a historical site offering stunning views of the region. Day 4 - Departure from Solan to Delhi
