Gadisar Lake is a peaceful and scenic reservoir located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer. Built in the 14th century by Maharawal Gadsi Singh, this artificial lake once served as the main source of water for the city. Surrounded by beautifully carved temples, ghats, and cenotaphs, Gadisar Lake is a favourite spot for boating and photography. The entrance, marked by the ornate Tilon-ki-Pol gate, adds to its charm. At sunrise and sunset, the golden hues reflecting on the calm waters create a magical atmosphere, making it one of the most visited attractions in Jaisalmer.
