The name “Anguri” means grapes, as the garden was once filled with lush grapevines and fragrant flowers. The garden’s geometric patterns, red sandstone pathways, and elegant marble fountains reflect the grandeur of Mughal landscaping. Surrounded by royal chambers, Anguri Bagh served as a private retreat for the emperor and his queens.
