Atal Tunnel, also known as Atal Rohtang Tunnel, is one of India’s proud engineering marvels. Located in Himachal Pradesh, this tunnel connects Manali to Lahaul Valley and is built at a height of about 10,000 feet. Stretching for 9.02 km, it is the world’s longest highway tunnel at such a high altitude. It has made travel to Lahaul faster, safer, and accessible throughout the year.

Driving through the Atal Tunnel is an experience in itself. The smooth roads, modern lighting, and well-planned ventilation make the journey comfortable. As soon as you exit the tunnel towards Lahaul, you’re welcomed by stunning views of snow-covered mountains, open valleys, and peaceful Himalayan landscapes. The tunnel has opened doors to new adventures, easier travel, and more tourism in this region.

A visit to Manali truly feels incomplete without experiencing the Atal Tunnel and the breathtaking scenery that surrounds it.
